About
Jenny Gage is a Yale MFA graduate and an internationally renowned filmmaker, fine artist, commercial photographer and educator. She has taught visual arts and photography at Bard College, School of Visual Arts, The New School and Yale University.
Jenny and her team of seasoned admissions experts provide a supportive, personalized counseling service. We help our clients craft exceptional applications anchored by memorable and well crafted essays and unique creative portfolios that result in proven college placement results.

College Counseling
College counseling requires patience, trust, and understanding. We recognize the time and emotional investment required to honor each student's process. We are there with our students through regular meetings and strategy sessions to strengthen academic and artistic development and help make the smart decisions needed to build a compelling personal narrative.
Essay Coaching
A strong essay is the heart of a strong application. Through creative prompts and exercises, we support our students to develop their unique voice and to uncover their most compelling stories. Whether the common app or school-specific prompts, our approach is to make the experience an enjoyable journey of discovery
Expert Application Guidance
Applying to college has never been as competitive or difficult to navigate as it is today. With our careful and knowledgeable guidance, the experience can be a rewarding one for both the student and the family. We eliminate the noise and guide students through every critical step. From school research and strategy through interview coaching and financial aid navigation, we will make sure you have the tools to achieve your optimal outcome.

Core to our mission is fostering students’ creative output because a well-presented portfolio or art supplement is a proven way to tell a memorable and unique story about yourself and to increase your admission chances.
